100 Pennies - A Journey to Forgive the Unforgivable (Smithtown Library - Nesconset Building)

Aaron Futterman, CPA, ESQ. of Futterman, Lanza & Pasculli, LLP will present on the importance of being financially focused and protecting your assets as you age. Author Gaetane Martin will join Aaron Futterman as she shares her story and discusses her work regarding poverty, domestic abuse and childhood hunger. Gaetane's autobiographical memoir 100 Pennies- A Journey to Forgive the Unforgivable covers her life span from childhood to present, a necessary approach in order to show the repeating patterns of dysfunction that flowed from childhood trauma to adulthood, patterns hiding just below the surface that directed her actions without her conscious awareness. Books will be available for purchase after the presentation.
